TrixAre we teaching kids today how to steal and discriminate?  Look at many of the cereal commercials, Trix, Lucky Charms, Cookie Crisp, Coco Puffs, Flintstones, all have characters that are trying to steal the cereal from someone and keeping it away from someone.  "Silly Rabbit, Trix are for kids!", "Someone Stole my Lucky Charms", etc etc.  Heck even the waffle business is getting into it, "Leggo my Eggo"  I should say have been in the business of indoctrinating theft if discriminated against, I remember similar commercials as a kid.

Are there deeper meanings to these commercials?  Is someone really out to brainwash kids?  I doubt it, kids are the target of these products.  Usually when a kid can't have something, they want it even more.  That explains Lucky Charms and Eggo's.  What about the others that keep the cereal away from someone different?  Like the Rabbit, or the rooster or the burglar dog?  Then there is Barney.  He just shouldn't get any, his wife is too hot for him.
