  dood-- i know im not your facvorite guy, but i gotta say i love the fact that you clash with people. it's not like you do it for no reason, sure i may have jumped to conclusions early on, but you clash for a reason, you have a good knowlege and are only trying to make greenies more effective. it may not always fun being a maverick but you're good at it, and have had a positive effect on people around you... like linton said, it's way tough to get a forum happening, there have been so many failed attempts (especially in greenland) no one goes to gwiki, no one really pays much attention to a lot of the DIY forums I've seen around. even when they have their own TV "network" (like http://www.ekostv.com/forum)... in a previous life (back when i was a video/rockstar) i used to mod a forum for VJs (not the mtv kind) we had 12,000+ members, but it was a limited playing field. I think the difference is specialization. each green forum i've seen so far has been a generalist green forum, and while yours has a good vibe (and i hope i'm allowed to join) it's still general. I think that the green forums that may make it will be more like green_architecture_forums, green_energy_forums, stuff like that where professionals will identify it as a tool, log on and get involved

  I have nothing against you, never have...sort of. I did get really annoyed :P I only wanted you to back up your opinions with facts, which I suppose you did, but not with ones I was satisfied with I guess.
  
  Most of my forum endeavors have crashed. If this one does, fine. If it gets used great. Go and post there and we can argue in a better form than janky/backward comment system.
  
  I know it's general. It will stay that way. I don't know enough about any single topic to not be general.
  
  Log on and post. Get the word out. If you have other idea's for it let me know. I may see what I can do. I've thought about a portal where people could write articles and such. It fits on top of the forum.
