A few weeks ago I switched from a local provider DSL to AT&T DSL. I thought service would be better and it was cheaper for a little while. Right from the get go I've had problems. First I could not hook up, the modem would never connect. After a week they got off their ass and figured it out. Then I was getting disconnected, someone came out and they found out my switching station had some problems. Then it still didn't work right. So they made appointment to come out and look at it. They were suppose to come inside,...
As always I disagree with the majority on the TreeHugger site. I really hate it when people put down just GM and no other car companies. As in this thread. Well a friend informed me that tread made it to GmInsideNews forums here. Hopefully they will post to Treehugger and help stop some of the ignorance. I still don't know why GM doesn't release some more hybrids though. I forgot about the Saturn Greenline and apparently Silverado. I don't think either are true hybrids. But really just larger alternators to start the engine up. I'm not positive.UPDATED
I'm currently eating some vegetables. I have some organic celery and non-organic celery. The organic is not as green, kinda yellow actually, not a huge deal. The non-organic is green. The first thing I noticed when cutting them last night was that the organic was very rubbery, not crisp. Now I tried a taste test between them. A bite of one and a bite of the other. The organic one was chewy and fibery and tasted like batteries. So otherwise like crap. The non-organic tasted.. normal I guess. Maybe the pesticides kill all celery flavor and that's what I'm used...
I've had XM for over a year now. I love it. I can't listen to normal radio now. I've just had a dash top unit. Now I just recently got a new car that has Sirius in it. I've only heard Sirius a few times before in a friends car. I thought I liked it better than XM, but now I don't. XM is great if you like sports. I mainly listened to the electronic station BPM and the alternative station Ethel. I really liked Ethel. I heard a lot of new songs on there. There doesn't seem to be...
So I need health insurance and was pointed towards Golden Rule Insurance. I should have been tipped off by their hideous website. It looks like the info pages were a straight cut and paste form their brochure. I bet they used Adobe to create the HTML. I decided to try anyway. Their application process is painful. Beyond the standard who are you and where do you live things, they ask if you have ever been to the doctor in the last 10 years. Ten years!!! Holy crap. Well of course I have. Then they want you to list absolutely everything...
