So somehow I read about the
Shangri-La diet. I was looking for cheap, easy non-boxed diets for lunch at work and home. I want to start eating better. I found the claims pretty amazing and so simple. Of course I was skeptical, who wouldn't be? So I decided to try it out. At first I just bought some extra light olive oil and took a teaspoon of that. I decided to buy the book and read it to make sure I was doing it right. I wasn't, it should have been a table spoon of oil or a few tablespoons of sugar water.

The book is a really easy read and quite inspiring. I wanted to feel like these people in the book and loose some weight. I started tracking my progess in a spreadsheet. I've only been doing it a few days and it looked like I dropped 4 lbs, until I weighed myself the next day, I was heavist yet. No big deal, when I used to weigh myself everyday at the gym I'd easily flucuate 5 lbs between days. I did seem to notice a lose of appitite in between meals. Although that may have been because I actually started eating breakfast. I'm back to not eating breakfast and I'm hungry again. I did seem to think I was eating less and not snacking as much. I did notice feeling really bloated after dinner the first few days. It was great I thought it was working. Now its a week later and I feel hungry like usual. No one meal a day for me. I don't know if its not working or what. I'll go post over at
http://www.sethroberts.net/ and see if I'm doing something wrong. I guess just eating better and exersize is the way to do it. Oh and I weigh 195ish and I'm 5'8".
